Who Is Not Eligible?
You are not eligible for the Australia eVisitor Visa if you:
Hold a passport from a country that is not on the approved eligibility list
Intend to undertake paid work in Australia
Plan to study for more than three months
Are already in Australia at the time of application
Applicants who do not meet health or character requirements may also be refused.
Travellers who are not eligible for the eVisitor Visa may need to apply for an alternative visa, such as an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) or a Visitor visa (subclass 600), depending on their nationality and travel purpose.
Permitted Activities on the eVisitor Visa
The eVisitor Visa allows you to:
Visit Australia for tourism or holidays
Visit family or friends
Take part in short business activities, such as attending meetings, conferences, or negotiations
Paid work and long-term study are not permitted under this visa.
